The timing of this unfortunately for Hurney, regardless of the truth of the situation seems very difficult to ignore the allegations. If you're in the middle of an interview anywhere for a position and this type thing comes up, you have to imagine you are likely being passed over for a qualified candidate who doesn't have outside bs going on.
