Foles might start for somebody else next season too.

That said, I feel like this was probably Foles high point. Wentz is probably just getting started.

Yeah, let’s not kid ourselves here it’s not a Trent green and Kurt Warner or a Bledsoe and Brady situation they well start wentz over foles and shop foles around if he still wants to play.   Right now foles is a easy ESPN story

BUT BUT BUT MVP..........................

Yep, he definitely has that over Wentz. But, the Eagles have passed on Foles as their franchise QB in the past and they'll do it again. They've hitched their wagon to Wentz and he's signed long-term where as Foles is only signed through next year. They'll trade Foles and move on with Wentz. It's a good "problem" to have. Maybe they would've won the Super Bowl with Wentz, maybe not. But we know for damn sure that they just won it with Nick Foles.

Oh, to be a reporter right now...

"So Bill, after benching one of your better defensive backs, you lost the Super Bowl to a team with a backup quarterback running the offense. How does it feel?"

"Tom, some of the most crucial plays near the end of the game were failures on your part. Any comment on that?"

Sure. All my money is on Wentz. They're gonna trade Foles.

Yeah, I get the feeling they will either trade him or keep him as backup until the end of next season where he will go into free agency. I can't see them re-signing him and paying what he will likely want giving he has the capability to start somewhere else in the league. It'll be interesting seeing where he goes and for how much when the time comes. I just hope it isn't in a certain spot here in the NFC South (Saints).

I'd love for Foles to go to N.O. He's a system QB. He's already failed outside of Philly before. The Eagles have been fleecing teams in QB trades for the past 20 years.

True, though he did just prove that with a strong team around him, and coaches of course, he can do well. It would end up depending on what Foles shows up. The Foles of old or if he continues to be the Superbowl MVP Foles. It will certainly make for some interesting offseason talk though either this season of next.

From what I know, Sean Payton's offense is mostly E-P though I've seen people put them in the WCO category too.

Foles does seem to work better in a WCO (hence his desire to play for Reid).
