Super Bowl 52 Thread

Yep still need a first down to clinch it.  So run or pass here?  I say you go for the jugular vein here.  Risky, but tell the qb not to throw into extremely tight coverage no matter what.  Don't take a sack.  Worse case scenario, you have a chance to increase the lead to 8 with NE having no timeouts and less than 2 to get a td and 2 point conversion.

Dude, they honestly weren't even close. James was going to the ground as he caught it and then reached. I knew that would be incomplete when I watched it live. Ertz had 3 feet hit the ground after catching it. He was clearly running after the catch. Those two plays are not even remotely the same play. Collinsworth was trying to tie them together, but two completely different plays.

It was literally 3 steps for Ertz compared to 2 for James (unless I remember incorrectly about James). 2 steps should be enough to establish yourself as a runner. Ertz was technically falling to the ground while taking those steps as well and I've seen plays in the past where the reasoning that it wasn't a catch was because he was going to the ground when catching it. It's really inconsistent.

Can't believe how many of you are pulling for the Eagles.  That POS fan base doesn't deserve a Super Bowl.

No, they don't. But fug the Patriots. I'll pull for any team in the NFL that isn't an NFC South divisional opponent over the Pats. The Seahawks would be a really, really tough call though. I'll give you that one.
