One of the concerns about this guy is a lack of toughness, I doubt switching him to DB is going to help that aspect of his game any.

I would've tried to trade the guy for anything I could get before I openly admitted to the NFL that this guy can't play WR at the NFL level by letting it leak out that we were going to look into moving him to CB.

It's always a factor, but this guy was drafted #9 overall just because of speed. He was a one year wonder in college with a well documented history of significant knee injuries with borderline size for an NFL WR. If he ran a 4.5 he would've probably been a mid-round pick at best. Hell, given his injury history he may have gone undrafted.
