One of my best friends from grad school is a die hard Chiefs fan. We discussed the possibility of the Chiefs moving him after seeing his cap hit for the year.

I guess the Skins won't be franchising Cousins for the 3rd time. I wonder where he'll end up?

Why?

He is in the wrong side of 30 for a QB that I don’t see “pushing them over the edge” to be a playoff contender.

Is he a upgrade over cousins? He makes around 6-7 million less than Matthew Stafford which I think is what cousins wanted. Do you pay the extra money? Or get a rental that doesn’t really upgrade you at all.

I think this year his price tag dropped, their defense was the big issue imo, I don’t think Alex smith pushes them into playoff territory

It means Washington is drafting a Qb in the first round and want Smith to start this season so he"ll be in the same predicament next off season

Any legit starting QB that hits the open market is gonna get PAID. There's a always a shortage of quality QBs in the NFL.
