It's easy.  He's arrogant.  He wins a lot.  He beat Carolina in one of their Super Bowls.  He's married to a supermodel.  He's probably one of the most hate-able people in sports.

Can't be the GOAT being a humble choir boy.

Hating is not a good look.

Dude is a beast. Will go down as the MJ of Football.

Ron seems to have the better of Belichick in head to head games. Just sayin'.

Belichick may go down as the greatest football coach in NFL history, but Ron seems to be a stumbling block for him.

Ron is a very good coach. There’s no shame in losing to Sean Payton 3 times when you know you can beat Brady and Belichick consistently.

I like a Patriots vs Panthers SB. It would be epic and I like our chances. Both teams have been there and have veterans who know how to get there.

Too bad we couldn’t make it out of our division this year because this would have been a great matchup. The NFCS is a tough room. These teams built themselves up to beat US.

how the hell could you hate brady?

dude has a passion and dedication to the game like no other.

he is a fiery competitor.

dude is clutch.

he should have 2 more rings if not for eli manning throwing up two prayers.

And he should have at least 2 less rings if not for the tuck rule, interception in red zone against seahawks, cheating in other superbowls, etc. So what's the point?

What a mockery of this gentleman's sport. :(

Don't they realize that manners and decorum and good feelings are more important than winning.?

I'm certainly happy we have a team owner who understands that. Bob Kraft should be ashamed.

To be fair, only one team in the NFL has coaching like this and it's why they are the most successful franchise in the past 20 years bar none.

I'm old enough to remember when the following coaches were all coaching in the NFL at the same time:

Chuck Noll, Don Shula, Tom Landry, Bill Walsh, Bill Parcells, Joe Gibbs, Tom Flores, Dick Vermeil, Bud Grant, Chuck Knox, Don Coryell, Bum Phillips.  I probably left some good coaches off of the list, but I think you can see the point I'm making. The late 70's-early 80's was stacked in terms of good coaches. SEVEN of those guys have multiple SB wins on their resumes. Vermeil has one, and the other ones made it to multiple conference title games.

Belichick probably deserves to be at the top of that list, but I don't think he would have been nearly as dominant in that era even with Brady, or that dominant today if all of those guys were in their prime and currently coaching.  I can't think of one guy coaching today who's in Bill's class. He's like a man among boys with his coaching peers.

The point is, even with two of the best cornerbacks in the league, zone is still TRASH against good QBs.      This is exactly the type of crap Ron does to keep other teams in the game, and Fox before him.      And come on, you NEVER play prevent against Brady, NEVER, didn't they see 28-3 last year in the SB?    Unless you're up by 50, you do NOT play prevent against Brady.    I wouldn't have the 85' Bears play prevent against him.

Speaking of their 85 Bears, Here's a quote from their famous head coach (Mike Ditka). I heard this one morning while he was on the ESPN pregame show.

"All the Prevent Defense does is prevent you from winning"!

Marv Levy, Sam Wyche and Hank Stram are all within my timeline too.
