I can tell you one thing I always like to see in players, and that's guys who still try when there's no reason to.

One guy that comes to mind on that front today: T Y Hilton.

And the NHL showed today why the product and especially the All-Star break is far better than the Pro Bowl. A better skills competition, a better game. The PB bores me to tears and I love football.

I love the new NHL format. Set it up like a playoff and you have more all-stars on the ice for 4 teams as oppose to just all-stars on 2 teams.

Hockey is physical but no where near as dangerous as full contact pro football.   Pro bowl should be a skills contest of some sort...no way in the world should anyone  risk injury during an exhibition of that type.
