And we still have a bad WR Corp because...

REALITY CHECK!!

It takes rookies time to learn and play well consistently in the NFL... smh

Wow!

Crazy...Kirk walks on the field ahead of our whole corp...

I doubt it.

Like WOW said,  unless Kirk is out of the ordinary,  he's catching up to Funchess (at the least). In other words,  he has a long way to go to get to Devin's level, and maybe Byrd and Samuel.

Kirk is a speed guy that's not overly physical.  He'll need to learn the nuances of route running and how to get off the jam at the line.

So he's not  a playmaker...yes he is...so he's not better...yes he is...you really put the anal in analysis...wow!

In college.. What does that have to do with the NFL??

Samuels was a uber playmaker in college how did that help Cam this year???

Don't worry I'll wait...

When looking at Diggs scouting report, its amazing to me someone like that would lasted till the 5th round.

It was due to him being injured a lot, having shitty qb play, and not having a great year before entering the draft.

But we can go back to those threads that off season and when certain posters wanted Perriman or Dorsett (both trash) I constantly told people I'd rather past and get Diggs in the 4th/5th.

I never understood it: he ran good routes, had good hands, wasn't a burner but could certainly run away from opponents, and constantly made plays. But I'm assuming we past because we had Philly fugin Brown.

Ray Charles could see Diggs was a player...Kirk is a player, Miller is a player...instant upgrade...

I would prefer to add a quality WR through free agency, and if we do that I’m not convinced WR in the first is the best option.  We don’t need another part time first round pick.

I wouldn’t mind adding a receiver later in the draft though.  I’m a big fan of Gallup but he seems to trending up.  I would love to pick him up in the second but at this rate he might be gone before that.

It almost seems that it is a down year for some of the normally coveted positions such as DE and WR and therefore they might get over drafted.  There seems to be better depth at RB and guard which typically don’t get drafted as high.  Might be a good year to trade down some.

Something like G/C in the first and RB in the second might not be exciting but might have the most value.

Safety looks strong this year as well.. That might be my 1st round choice..
