Who doesn’t know about him? He’s been brought up here many times during LT discussions. Mainly because he was the ONLY player that would have helped. One player, in 5 drafts, is blind luck to hit.

If it makes you feel better, believe whatever you want. The point is still valid no matter how much deflection is attempted.

BS...pure and simple...

Yup it's just the truth of what Rivera is at this point. A moron who is being carried by 2 all time greats at key positions. He's bad and should be replaced too, none of this better late than never bs as we may not even get back to the SB with this regime and the wasted years off our young core with Shula is unforgivable.

Just about every NFL type---player,  coach, analyst,  exec---thinks that Rivera is a good coach.  Being carried by Cam and Luke?  I wonder how we ever won games without Cam and Luke in the lineup.

A bunch of coaches have played with plenty of great players and not sniffed the playoffs, much less a Super Bowl, or one COTY award,  much less two.

Good and great players are pretty much necessary,  but an average to bad coach ain't winning poo regardless if they have the talent or not.

Barry Switzer has a Super Bowl ring.

Just another in a long line of horrible decisions by Ron. What’s even worse than hiring Shula is not firing him until you see that new ownership is on the horizon...

New ownership had nothing to do with this decision.  Turners availability had everything to do with it. If Turner didnt want to come out of retirement, Shula would still be our OC.

Name something outside of the winning seasons ( no back to back), superbowl appearance, and coach of the year award that speaks to Riveras wisdom as a head coach? Can someone name something he has done without mentioning awards and accolades.

lol... you cant separate all that...
