I agree that Smitty will come down with jump balls, 80 percent of them, anyway. Problem is that the rest will get tipped and picked ... which, of course, we'll have to blame on Jake.

well, normally the only other options running routes are Moose and whichever TE is in the game.

at other times the only other options are Moose and a RB.

basically, there aren't a lot of options. Moose simply isn't a good recieving threat and TEs are TEs.
