Get rid of kicking all together. No FGs, No Punts, No Kickoffs, Play all 4 downs, make a td worth 7 points no need for xtra points.

& Have them line up in the kicking formations to yell "fug you soccer!"

The fact that this league is starting at a time of a likely NFL Lockout is smart on McMahon's behalf. If the XFL really wants to stay, put some teams in untouched markets (St. Louis, Portland and OKC), get a deal with a streaming service like Youtube TV and partner with 2K for a tie-in game like the trailer teased and it'll sustain some life.

Let the defense play. Get rid of all the bullshit penalties called every game and let the damn D play defense. This is by far the biggest thing the XFL could do to make me have interest and one area they could have an advantage over the NFL immediately.

Full time refs who get bonuses for games they call where they don’t make mistakes, and who get docked when they make mistakes.

Have it be completely after the NFL season and end before the NFL season starts at least at first.

All games broadcast nationally on cable (shouldn’t be that hard with 8 teams...?).

Get some real NFL caliber players (even if just practice squad type guys, but ones who have been in the NFL or are currently but would like more playing time in a new league) and NFL caliber coaches. Easier said than done but would go a long way. Could be something of an NFL development league too...

I think that’s it for now...

lets be honest, if you let the defense play they way they wanted to,  ...there would be a lot of seriously injured people and probably lawsuits.

Yeah, that’s my biggest critique. I’m not talking head shots, but like pressing for 10 yards, no ticky tacky pass interference calls (needs to be substantial), I really like someone else’s idea of no punting or kneel downs. These would make the game more interesting and fun to watch in my opinion.

Love the idea of ref bonuses. That should happen.
