Gettleman takes shot at McAdoo

Lol, Gettleman doing Gettleman things...  Classless as ever.  I also see his fanboys are out in full-throated defense of their great leader.  It's threads like this that make me wish we didn't allow the main forum to be clogged up with other team's bullshit though.

For someone that claims to hate Gettleman, you sure do set post records in threads about him. Don't make me go in on you again, @heel31ok. You got so upset last time

oh what it must be like to live in your fantasy world...I don't claim to hate him... you claim it...your obsession with my post records is very flattering

nj.com is pretty sensationalist. they make these clickbaity titles all the time. once you read the article though, and you look at the direct quotes, it says nothing about mcadoo specifically. he just says he prefers that his head coaches have more experience and are level headed, instead of going for the young turks.

Pretty much.

The actual comments don't reference McAdoo at all. He's talking more about Shurmur's  personality than anything.

But people here will fall for it and run with it, so....

You guys keep bringing up the ghost of Steve Smith as a red herring to deflect the real issues that people had with Gettleman's moves after Steve Smith.  It's old and tired.

old and tired is this dumb thread being created taking a ridiculous headline and running with it. the tri-state media market has a lot of resentment towards mcadoo over some of the things that transpired in the 2017 season. so of course they want to put a spin on gettleman’s comments to create excitement and buzz about the giants’ future, and in turn, it’s being used here to re-affirm everybody’s hatred for the guy.

and let’s not pretend that a lot of you guys don’t act like it was steve smith’s birthright to retire a panther. when gettleman cut him, that’s when he passed the point of no return as a perceived asset.

I can count on one hand how many times I've brought him up unprompted in the last 3 years.

You're in here saying his name like he's the Candyman. You brought him up.

That might work if your hand had about a thousand fingers.

You bring him up constantly, even in threads that have nothing to do with him.

Heck anymore, you've basically only got two posts: "Gettleman was bad" and "everybody hates Cam". You hardly ever talk about much of anything else.

Get some new material.

Well I'll take a page out of your book.

How about you go find the last post I brought him up on my own?

I hope you're talking about Steve Smith. Because if you're under the impression that I'm talking about Gettleman, well, let's just say your reading comprehension could use some work.

This has to be about either McAdoo, some coach he has worked with(Rivera), or one of the coaching candidates.  Why would you use that phrase to describe him if not throwing shade at someone else.  His best quality is that he is an adult? He is definately talking about someone, and I say again very unprofessional

And Josh Norman,.. and Ted Ginn,.. drafting Funchess(there were better choices, give me a break), Matt Kalil,..

and the list goes on.

Hurneys list is longer— but getting Fired sort of has a humbling effect on some people so we will see.

I'll have to disagree about Funchess. He's only like 23, and honestly he's already a solid #2. Funny that I'm the one saying this considering I'm supposed to be the biggest DG hater here lol.

Now the KB pick is where you can criticize him. We shouldn't have drafted two identical WR's. One should compliment the other. I'll give Ron his share of blame for the pick as well, you know he had input there.
