Keeping a tally for this offseason...

- OC Mike Shula was fired (replaced by Norv Turner)

- QB Coach Ken Dorsey was fired (to be replaced by Scott Turner)

- ST Coach Thomas McGaughey left for the same position elsewhere (Chase Blackburn replaced him; now we have to backfill for him)

- DC Steve Wilks got a head coaching job (replaced by Eric Washington, so we need a new DL Coach)

- OL Coach Ray Brown decided to follow Wilks (no replacement yet; might not be)

- LB Coach Al Holcomb also will follow Wilks but will get a promotion to DC (also no replacement yet)

 

So as it stands right now, when all is said and done just under a third of the total coaching staff will have been replaced.

More change is possible, though not expected.

Anyone surprised by this has been living in fantasy land.  With the sale of this team and uncertainty of the future I’d be looking elsewhere too.  I had a feeling this would happen.  Be prepared for several years of mediocrity.........
