So, we really just gonna ignore the fact MJ said we're not trading Kemba for anything less than an All-Star?

In all fairness, and everyone knows I haven't pulled any punches on Batum this season, most everyone was on board with retaining him when we did.  No one could really foresee him ever being this awful.  That first year, he was what we expected and was a piece you would want to build around...  but he hasn't just been bad this season, he has been historically bad, and there is no way around that.  He needs to go, but as others have said, I doubt we can move him and that pretty much destroys any chance of salvaging this season or the next.

I would just give Cleveland Kemba, Batum, and others for that first rounder and some expiring contracts at this point. Only makes sense. Sadly.

Marvin would be perfect playing alongside Lebron, btw..

Marvin has the best shooting % from 3 in the NBA this year.. and he plays solid Defense - something Love has neeeeeever been able to do..

The way I look at it:
Love = Kemba (players-wise)
IT = Marvin (player-wise)
Shump/Frye = Batum (contract wise)

We get $13mil off the books in one offseason.. IT can go wherever he wants (we'd prolly buy him out).. then Shump and Love can be flipped to a contender for draft picks in offseason..

We'd have the Brooklyn pic, our lottery pick and whatever we can get for Love/Shump.. sounds like a plan to me..

I think they might consider that actually, Love being replaced by Williams makes a ton of sense. Kemba over IT makes a ton of sense. Batum for Shump and someone else makes sense as well.

only part of that I think would be hard to get from the Cavs is the Brooklyn pick

No pick no trade. We have to have some type of hope left as a fan base. The Brooklyn pick gives us a chance to make things right again hopefully with a new GM and Coach too.

The thing with the brooklyn pick though is there is no guarantee its going to even be top 5 so its not even as attractive as its thought to be. We need top 5 picks to have any chance of turning this around and i dont see them doing a trade unless we are gonna super tank ourselves and not win a game the rest of the year or be for sure the pick we get back will be top 5.

Face it we are just stuck in a loop as a franchise 8th place or miserable 10-14 pick every year that we will never hit on.
