We have two in the top 10.

Shaq at 8 and Davis at 5.

For those crapping on Shaq this year, I think we were just spoiled by Davis in his prime, He's still an above average and capable OLB in the league and we're lucky to have him.

I think he's going to be fine, once our idiotic Coaches stop asking him to cover slot receivers. That still makes me shake my head till this day.

In their defense it's not like our big slot signing of C Munnerlyn was really lighting the world on fire. Every time i saw him he was chasing someone from behind. Maybe they figured that if they are going to be crappy guarding the slot the least they can do is put some more weight on the field to stop the run...

To be fair, we've experimented on Shaq in the buffalo nickel role before and it worked.

Of course that WR was old Fitz while we were harassing an injured Palmer so maybe we shouldn't have put a bunch in stock into that.

We're definitely gonna have to address buffalo nickel (Ronnie Harrison would be a good choice.)  if we're set on running it because haha holy poo Shaq can not cover speedier slot guys

    • Honestly Bryce is a conundrum right now I'm not really sure what we should do with him but I am content on him being the quarterback number one going into next season. I think we should allow him the chance to play out the season to prove that he's the quarterback he can be going into next season.  I would not waste a high draft pick on a quarterback because I'm not sure anyone in this up and coming class is as good or has the ceiling that he had with that said I wouldn't throw away the future I would bring in someone like Justin Fields to have him looking over his shoulder and give us a plan b if everything doesn't go right on a one-year deal. I think the priority right now if tepper wants to make a big splash is find a way to get Travis Hunter that would be option 1AA because he helps with both sides of the field either way whatever you need defense or offense. Make that happen and then go mostly defense the rest of the way and we're cooking.
    • Move on from what?   Let me guess we gatekeeping on who we can and can't appreciate?   Next time I will just make a Kuechly appreciation thread lmao
