I think steroids and other performance enhancing drugs should not only be 100% legal in professional sports, they should be encouraged.

I believe we already have something  similar to what you’re asking for.

It’s very hard for me to believe that many of these players are natural. Not something they are going to advertise or condone for sure.

Yep.

I’ve mentioned this before and for anyone with a basic understanding of steroids can make use of this but juding from some of these comments not many do.

Here’s an article from 2015:

https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/neuroscience/epitestosterone

“The NCAA currently uses a ratio of testosterone to epitestosterone of 6:1; however, this ratio varies with certain organizations, such as the National Football League, for which a 4:1 ratio is a presumptive positive test and 10:1 ratio is a conclusively positive test (National Football League Policy on Anabolic Steroids and Related Substances, 2005).”

An article from 2005 stating it used to be 6:1...

At the end of the day most of these athletes are already so genetically gifted that a little test can go a long way. People have this misconception that any joe blow can take roids and look like Ronnie Coleman. That’s not how it works.

Interesting, thanks for the links.

Totally agree about the advantages of a little bit of T with a gifted athlete.

Its still the same amount of work and some would argue you work harder because you can.

Gear is always a hot take topic that has really good arguments on both sides.

It's not the same anymore. They've become serious about their wellness policy in WWE over the last decade or so. After Chris Benoit committed a roided out double murder homicide poo got real.

To expand on the links I posted above WWE is 6:1 t/e ratio

Plus there are many loopholes in their testing as well

Pretty sure PEDS are used widespread across the NFL.

I love Thomas Davis as much as the next guy, but three ACL tears and still playing at this level?

Take a look at JJ Watt's frame before and after the NFL. Adrian Peterson recovering from his ACL tear in nine months to almost set the all-time single season rushing record. James Harrison playing volleyball with a fugging medicine ball.

I don't blame guys, but lets not act like these guys aren't juiced up already.
