I think it's more likely to push guys like Chark further up the board than they would likely otherwise be drafted.

In theory,  that should mean the exact opposite.

I think that our draft late(r) position puts us in a "tough" spot. If we want someone, we might have to take them a "round too early." But that's life,  and it can actually be a good thing. Just get your man,  that's all you can do. That's why free agency is so important (or should be).

Let's be honest, whoever Hurney drafts in the 2nd round is every bit as guaranteed to be a bust as whatever poor QB goes #1 overall to the Cleveland Browns. There's no sure things in a draft, but those two things are about as close to a sure thing as you can find.

I dont belive that at all...im thinking we have a solid draft at least through first 4 picks...until otherwise seen thats my take...

There's just too long of a history of Hurney and atrocious 2nd round picks. History says that he's more likely to hit in the 5th or 6th than the 2nd.

Until then I'm looking for a good draft...i think some good influences will be effective this time around...

Stay away from Chark in the draft. Very little shiftiness, which hinders his ability to seperate. Doesn't acclerate well, which also hinders his ability to seperate.

To top it off, he body catches everything. Literally, everything. I don't ever remember him attacking the ball, instead of letting it drop into his body. Chris Carter said it best, when asked about what he looked for in a WR. "Guys have to catch with their hands. If they're catching in the cradle up against their body, they're trash."

Chark would be a very good pick in the 3rd round or thereafter IMO.

I don't think he'll make it in the NFL, honestly, and I'm a huge LSU fan. I'm rooting for him, but he never stood out, like OBJ or Landry. He doesn't do anything very special, imo. He won't run by NFL corners like he did in college.

I’m on board. He’s definitely got that long speed.  But if he lasts til our mid rounds, he’s not as sure a prospect as what I’m wanting. Get him in the third or fourth after taking one of the top WRs in the first? Sure. WR, S/CB/DE, S/CB/DE, this guy, bpa then on sounds good to me.
