our secondary got burned plenty of times this year and in 2016. I wouldnt have much faith in them to do better than what we're seeing out of the vikings. Their players individually are certainly alot better than ours in the secondary.

True the Viking secondary is better but not tonight for sure. I've seen too many times tonight where the Viking defender is just standing there as the Eagles receiver makes a cut to get wide open and even then it takes the defender a moment to notice as if they had no clue where the WR was in the first place.

The Eagles defense certainly is.  So far, they have allowed two td's in the playoffs total.  That is domination regardless of the opponents.

The Eagles defense wasn't nearly as highly rated as the Vikings though. The Vikings are getting absolutely destroyed by a stacked offense. The Vikings mediocre offense can't keep up.

Eagles fans getting a little too cocky. No need to taunt the already embarrassed, upset, and dejected Vikings fans by taking the Skol can't and mocking it. Shaun Peyton learned that the hard way last week, just in this case it won't be the Vikings dishing out the Karma.

    • Same... With the personnel the Niners had, that defense could have been historically good in the right hands. Under Wilks they were certainly good, they didn't quite rise to that level. Honestly, I see Wilks kinda like I see Rivera: fantastic person, decent head coach. Skill wise, phenomenal DB coach, so-so DC. His greatest strength is his leadership. Hard to find many better in that department. In the Xs and Os / execution area though, not as good. Bottom Line: Wilks is the sort of coach that needs a staff that excels in those aspects of the game where he's weaker. But, like Rivera, I don't know that he scouts assistants very well. That as much as anything might be why he's not in the NFL now.
    • Clearly the best outcome for us is a Giants W. A spot or two difference in the 4th round is inconsequential. Just look at the trade value charts. A spot or two at the top of the 1st means a LOT. A spot or two in the mid-rounds? Virtually nothing.
    • Agree. I don't think I have ever heard him say anything positive, at any time, about the Panthers. Best expectation is no mention at all.
