I think NBA is a better example with that ref that went to prison for rigging games.

That was one guy though.  And he got caught and went to prison.  Or it was just a few.

I could buy and wouldn't be surprised if one ref got busted for rigging a game for gamblers.  But that Goodell and company conspired to get Brady into the SB is something I find amusing.

Right, I was just using an example. I don’t think nfl is rigged, but there was a good chance there were more than just one ref. The goal is to not get caught haha

It's more than just the refs. It's the coaches also. The players are just chess pieces they don't have a clue. But the owners, refs, and coaches all are in on the fix.

So now the conspiracy has thousands in on it?  Lizard People only ones who could pull that off!

You would think, but the refs let the Jaguars defenders grab the Pittsburgh WRs' jerseys & in general hold them the entire game last week, but then threw pass interference penalties against the Jaguars today when they played the Patriots.  Coincidence?  I really don't think so.

So the NFL would NOT prefer Steelers and Patriots in AFC Championship?

The grabs and pass int were blatant,.. so they were called.

Hey, I would have thought the NFL would have wanted that, but there was blatant pass interference in the Jaguars/Steelers game that was just plain missed, and on big 4th down plays, too.  I wasn't necessarily saying the NFL wanted to keep the Steelers out; my point was, if the NFL wanted the Steelers in the Championship game, the calls would have been made.  And they weren't.
