Hate the Seahawks but gotta give them credit for winning it in '13. They kinda became a ratings favorite due to Wilson but that was all well after they won it all. Broncos were the team that was due that year. Seahawks spoiled it for us because if Broncos win in '13, we probably win it all in '15.

It's not full on rigged, but these guys are all businessmen first and foremost. Every single one of them. They care more about the money the league is raking in than their own teams winning 100%. And if you're making the odds slightly better of having better matchups for ratings and more money then they'll all love that and want a piece of the pie.

I'm pretty sure the networks pay the same amount regardless of who plays or the ratings, and it's all negotiated years in advanced.
