I’m honestly shocked by the amount of people that want Wilks gone. Do they even know that the reason he has been getting so many looks is because he turned our defense into a respectable unit his year with pretty much no substituve player changes? We went from 21st, to 7th and were top 5 for 90% of the season. That’s an amazing job.

Goes to show how little some fans know.

Not sure where you get your numbers. In yards surrendered which Zod says is the comparison that matters we finished the season 26th not 7. My stat is scoring defense and we were fairly good tied for 10th with the Saints. The other stat I like is yards per play which evaluates total yards by the number of plays you had to defend. We gave up 5.3 yards a play which was tied with 5 other teams at 17th. If we were top 5 most of the first part of the season and 32nd the last part of the year it speaks to what happened once opponents got film on our defense and figured out Wilks tendencies. That is what people disliked plus we gave up 31 or more points to the Saints 3 times in a row and only 3 other defenses allowed the Saints to score 30 or more all year. Wilks was very predictable and didn't change his gameplan for better or worse. Teams could force us to play zone for example by going  with 4 or five receivers and get desirable matchups because we didn't move Bradberry to match up on our opponents best receiver.

I think if Wilks stays he will improve significantly as he gains experience. He is a smart guy and players play hard for him. But I don't know where you think we were a top defense this year.

The biggest problem i saw was Shula taking off the gas when we had a lead and Wilkes going into a prevent defense allowing the other team to get back in the game . Too many times we just tried to run out the clock and was close to biting us in the butt.  this is why the Patriots and the Saints this year were so good.  they never played not to lose but played to win .

Unfortunately this is more a reflection of Rivera than anything. That's his style, for better or worse.

Wilks will probably turn out to be a good HC.  I like his accountability and positive nature.  As a DC he ain’t cutting it. Just another in a long line of RRs failures.

Ron has shown no ability to evaluate  players or coaches and as long as we get a Gm  who can . We’ll be alright

RR should never be allowed to make decisions of this nature he’s shown a propensity for failure

Bring in Del Rio here and he'll put a Jenkins in the middle and a Peppers on the outside and we won't be fuging around on defense anymore, rather we'll actually pressure with the front four. Del Rio knows how to build a monstrosity of a D-line, not this overpaid KK nonsense.

Buh buh buh muh hog mollies...

People here can't stand Cam* Jordan, but the ugly truth is we need someone like him along the DL if we want to get back to winning the division and making postseason runs.

Still have not recovered from loosing G hardy. Addisons been ok, Pep was great this year but he's probably retiring. Problem is I have no idea where to get a good DE, it takes too many seasons for them to develop.

Maybe, but what we need more importantly is a 2015 Norman. We need a absolutely beast at CB. The Sherman's, Norman's, Talib's, Ramsey's, the Rhode's poo you can add Malcolm Butler and Chris Harris Jr in there too. Bradberry and Worley isn't the answer
