You do realize Cam had shoulder surgery right and spent most of the time in between games not pushing it right?

You do realize that QB play is dependent on other things right?

There you have it folks. The reason Cam Newton has been an inconsistent passer his entire career.

Think about it like this.

Cam Newton, while carrying the run game, somehow managed to guide this bottom ranked offense to 11 wins in a division that sent 3 teams to the playoffs. And he did it with Devin Funchess, no Greg Olsen half the season, and a bunch of practice squad receivers.

Yet on a Friday night, there are Panthers fans who think it's a good time to bash him as one of the teams core issues holding this franchise back.

What a crock of poo. If you ever need an example of how pitiful this fanbase is, look no further.

Red, seriously, nobody is bashing Cam.

I, as a football fan, a carolina panther fan, and a Cam fan, want to see Cam become the consistent passer he should already be at this point in his career.

It's okay to say these things, cause they are true, You shouldn't need to resort to grade school level behavior because you are way overly defensive about a player we both love.

Get some rest, and try to relax a bit.

It's why Shula and Dorsey are gone.  Ron's talking a bullet for Shula by lumping them together in not finding CMC's ceiling.  The reality is that CMC is a huge part of our offensive future, and it was Shula's job to figure out how to properly use him.  But since he clearly had no idea how to do that, a change at OC needed to be made (whether it should have happened sooner can be argued but is not the point).

Jonathan is a great person and teammate but he clearly does not map to his contract, a terrible contract given to him by the person who know needs to terminate him

For the record, Stewart will be working under a Gettleman contract this year.  His contract from Hurney was to expire after the season, but Gman gave him an extension.  Not that it really matters, just wanted to set the record straight.

That’s because DG had to restructure to bring down his ridiculous cap hits. Maybe we should have taken an 8.2M cap hit this year for him, like Hurney originally intended to pay him?

Not really the point. Just stating it was Gettleman that signed Stewart to his current contract  extension.

But it was more about locking him up for this coming year as well, they could’ve easily managed that cap without much problem.
