Daeshon was succumbed to the Marty Hurney IR curse as most others are. Ron Rivera wants his vets, and Marty gets to IR a bunch of guys.

That being said expect him to steadily increase in skill and impact by year 3.

I think the Panthers better plan on drafting a DE with a high pick or at  least bring in a proven vet. The Panthers defense relies on a strong front 7 so an effective DE is critical.  CJ is done, and Peppers is 37.  Hall is unproven and should not be relied on to be the answer. 

I don’t see a lot of elite level DE in this draft

He only played 9 snaps week 1 and was gone for the year and was never really heard from since.  I don’t remember if he got any hype in camp either, although he did make it to the final 53.

i think he was a reach at the time for a position of need. hopefully he can have some impact, even if its just situational pass rushing downs.

I think that's when you see what he's got.   I think the 3rd season is where u see a lot of promise.  Hopefully see hints in 2018 but consistent in 2019 would be realistic.

I just bumped a thread but do any of you remember the International Player we had on the practice squad.  

Efe Obada 6' 6" 265 DE.   I am interested to see if this guy could see any playing time?
