Once his contract is voided, Saints take a $18m cap hit next season for Brees.  Once he resigns with them, there's a good chance of getting close to costing them $30m for next seasons cap even if the contract is longer deal and backloaded.  I could be wrong. I'm sure the resident Saints fan can clue you in more.

Funny thing about trolling someone like Jordan did with the wine, getting on National TV and proclaiming this was the Saint's year, and Payton doing the Skol clap. When you do it you need to make sure you can back it up.

The wine would have tasted pretty good watching Jordan come back out of the locker room for the extra point.

The Saints year? The Saints didn't even reach the Conference Championship Game, Yeah the Panthers and the Falcons lost thier trips to the Superbowl, but they made it there.

Payton thought he was cute doing the Skol Clap until..... well you know what happened.

And as far as you holding on to W's just how many division titles do the Saints hold in a row? But I understand, after wearing a bag over your head for so many years you have to grasp for as much hope as you can find.

First of all, I have well over 2000 posts.

Secondly, the board dedicated to my favorite team is a shithole. 

Thirdly, I visit to talk football, not just the Saints, but do tend to stick to Saints topics a bit more.

There's a lot there that I really don't care to dissect.

Yes, when you talk poo, you better back it up, and hope the rest of your teammates do as well. But people talk poo and lose all of the time. It happens. 

Division titles in a row? You won a division title with a losing record lol. When's the last time you had back to back winning seasons?

do you notice in both of these gifs you provided that it's the other team getting in Cam's face, not the other way around? they were pissy they couldn't stop him, so they got up into his face all triggered, and he celebrated anyway. the Falcon even got flagged for it.

True of the 7 winning seasons Carolina has had in their first 23 seasons none of them are back to back....

Remind me agian how long it took the Saints to have a winning season after they entered the league in 1966.

Wasn't it something like 21 seasons before the had a winning season?

You may not realize this....if we won the division with a losing record then the Saints must have had a worse record.  I believe we beat you 41-10 in the Superdome that year and we won in the wildcard round.  SKOL (clap over head)
