It’s a pick play and illegal. Shoulda been flagged. Go back and watch the tape when the vikes ran underneath  crossing routes they had wrs that coulda did the same thing to the saints dbs.

But they didn’t. They actually dodged them to keep from drawing a flag.

Definitely should have been a penalty and the ref that picked up the flag should be ashamed of himself. Thomas saw the player coming, had the chance to avoid the player and/or make the hit have heck of lot less impact, but instead decides to unload on him full force. If could understand if neither person saw each other but Thomas for sure saw Sendejo and made ZERO attempts to not hit the defenseless player in this case.

Far less? Dude lined Adams up and ran full speed and launched into his head.

He made contact with the chest area. Hasn't been a single look I've seen that shows him taking a shot at his head with his forearm. You see the forearm go over his head, but you usually do on big hits.

Yup. I said all night the Saints should have been running into the wide receivers instead of avoiding them to make the officials throw a flag, but they didnt. Crawley kept going around the picks. Partly because you keep your head around and watch where you're going in traffic.

I don't know how you can defend this.  He intentionally lowered his shoulder/head to hit Sendejo (who wasn't looking ) in the head and knocked him unconscious.  As stated, TD got suspended 2 games for this.  Thomas deserves 1.

 

But if he doesn't get suspended at least he has to deal with losing in such an epic fashion for 6 months.

That’s Payton’s calling card, going back to Williams. He likes dirty football, if he gets caught he deflects to someone else.

I hope that at some point next season Payton and Ron get into it after a game, would really like to see the linebacker in Ron shine for just a couple seconds.
