Yes but they've also had MASSIVE free agent signings, similar to the Broncos hitting on their defensive free agents in 2014 which contributed greatly to our loss in the SB. AJ Bouye from the Texans and Calais Cambell from the Cardinals and Malik Jackson from the Broncos have all been ridiculously good and deserving of first team All-Pro.

Don't forget Barry Church. Main FA I wanted

Shula’s main weakness was not knowing when to call certain plays. Look at last week. We had 1st and 10 on the NO 21 after the PI on McCaffery. Olsen and McCaffery both had over 100 yards and we had 48 seconds left. Why not go over the middle to one of those two to cut that in half as that was working. We had plenty of time and could easily spike the ball if we needed to and what does Shula do? Every pass play was to the end zone after that. First one almost picked by Lattimore and then you know the rest. Typical Shula go deep when there was no reason to and ignoring the top two weapons that had carved up NO.

I definitely agree.

One of the things that annoyed me most about Shula is that we are a team that likes to throw it deep on occassion, and second and short is the best time to throw it deep.  Yet it seemed when we got a second and short, we ran the ball virtually every time.  Never used the opportunity to stretch the field.

The great Dave Gettleman who is going to turn the Giants around immediately got schooled by the GM of the Jacksonville Jaguars this past offseason.

Let that sink in.

If the Panthers had 70 million to spend, I'd say Gman could buy as good as the next guy

Well the only issue with your argument is the little fact that he also got schooled by the Saints GM, who by all accounts here has been a complete laughing stock that has no cap room to work with. Welp...

True. Sh*t drafts didn't help at all, but Ron's "bend but don't break" defense always gets exposed when going against elite offenses.

We would likely be still playing if J-No was here.  You can't do poo with your corners getting pushed all over the field,  taking bad angles and missing tackles.

Jags had twice the money the Panthers did
