Certainly not the worst post-SB-loss season ever recorded, but definitely left plenty to be desired. Hopefully year two with an OC pays dividends next fall.

Falcons offense has really been bad the last month or so.  Only one game out of the last four with more than 1 td.  They scored two against the Rams, one of which was a short field turnover situation.  With all the talk about Jones and company, their defense has been carrying them.

They're pretty similar, have 1 great year on offense, get figured out in the SB, and can't duplicate it afterwards.

Exactly, and it's the frigging playoffs. Eagles were #1 seed for a reason, and it wasn't just Wentz. They're very well coached on both sides of the ball (Schwartz I'd say is the best D-coordinator in the game right now), have a damn good defense, some pieces on O along with a run game and it's the frigging playoffs. I wouldn't bet against the Eagles, and all week leading up to this game I've been telling people, don't overlook the Eagles just because Wentz is out. Foles didn't play great and isn't great but he's had stretches of not only competent play, but elite play. 27 TDs to 2 picks was a fugazi, but a fugazi that can come up again these playoffs.

This is Sark's first year as OC. Shanahan was last year and is now Niners HC.

You're right my bad either way the Falcons probably won't be able to match their explosiveness on offense last year for a while.
