Yes, a 1 game difference. As in, the Panthers are 1 game better in their record. Hence, they're a better team than the Falcons. With the exception of Julio and a select few others, the Panthers roster is better from top to bottom. Better defense, better Quarterback, better line.

The Vikings and Patriots haven't played yet while the Steelers have a tough divisional matchup the jury is still out. The only teams right now with a really strong chance to at least getting to the conference championship is the Patriots and obviously the Eagles if they win this.
