It’s really not and I’m not some TD homer either. I was on the fence about the extension.

Shaq hasn’t taken that next step and didn’t look good at times this season again.

This D would’ve been even worse this season without him.

TD himself has said Shaq is his replacement so how can he "take the next step" if the person in his position is still here?

I mean wtf you think TD could play in Shaqs spot or Lukes and be as effective as he is? Luke couldn't and he is a HOF MLB.

I thought Peppers may stick around one more year, but the vid showing him signing all kinds of stuff in the locker room may say otherwise.

Ehh... Some of those players may be guys who won't be around here next year and of course Pep's future was uncertain but I don't think it means anything one way or the other that he signed autographs for his teammates.

I figured this would be the response.

One one hand: Huddle says it wants a winning franchise

On the other: "BUT WTF DONT CUT MUH FAVORITE PLAYER I LUB HIM"

......

guess you really don't

Yeah that’s it...

Because cutting TD so Shaq could’ve stepped in this year would’ve brought us closer to a SB.

TD was better than Shaq this year period.

Peppers seems to have a good relationship with TD. I think he gives it one more shot and hangs it up after 2018.

2018 is gonna be exciting with a lot riding on the season.

If it's TD, and Pep's last season, man, it's gonna be memorable regardless of the record.  Those are staples, one a HOF and one who will be immortalized in Panthers history.

Please god let us get TD a ring.

This year? wtf you talking bout...1 year late means him playing in 2018  and us not cutting him this offseason. Reading is fugin hard....

Yea and the MLB we had outplayed Luke when Luke was out of position too, means poo.
