in an ideal offense Funchess is at least 2nd option along with Olsen after a true 1 WR

I was surprised Cam threw it to him. I was expecting him to be a decoy for Greg or something. There had to be a play that would have gotten Greg at least a little open. But then again, that would have required our former OC to actually think of the correct play to call.

Im sorry, what defender was in his way “blocking his view?” Any WR worth a damn or “legitimate playmaker” will tell you they need to make this play, period.

Funchess is a decent complimentary piece who doesn’t really excel at any one thing. It’s important we find ‘the piece’ this offseason

Funchess looked good enough when healthy that I think he can be our #1, if healthy. He played hurt the last month and still played well, especially against New Orleans.

Someone here compared him to Moose recently and I think that's spot on. I'd even say his ceiling is a little higher but he needs a Steve Smith on the other side to really shine.
