David Newton Predicts There to Be A Complete Overhaul of the Panthers RB Position Through Draft and Free Agency

As Stew's biggest fan, it is time to get a new feature back.  Stew can could be retained as the short yardage specialist, but I won't hold out hope that it happens.

Fozzy needs to go.

CAP can be brought back for training camp, but no promise of a roster spot.

Norv's offenses have ALWAYS had a successful Bell cow.

I watched Chubb not too impressed but Michel fyes!

Chubb was on his way to being an all-time great until he hurt his knee his sophmore season. Although he probably won't ever live up to what he could have been he's still more than serviceable. However, my theory is that you should never take a RB that stays all 4 yrs of college. Not because they may not be any good, but because RB lifespans are so short. Everyone takes a huge dip after 30 (see Stewart, Johnathan for example). I'd rather draft someone just as serviceable that had 1 or 2 less years of tread in college.

RB is very deep in this years draft.  No need to get one early unless Barkley falls, haha

Plus guys who are exclusively power backs aren't super coveted in the league anymore other than a few exceptions.  With CMC we have the luxury of not having to reach for his other half.

I'm still laughing at y'all hating when the OL got absolutely no push all season. When the OL blocked well, our RBs ate. When they didn't, we struggled. Problem isn't at RB, it's OL

No, it's the Oline when Cam ain't kicking it. When a RB falters, has nothing to do with blocking.

It's not rocket science. We invested a high first round in CMC, he'll be here to stay.

Stewart is too old and slowed down incredibly the last 2 years, he's gone.

Fozzy is literally less then average and has no business near our team, especially with the Norv offense, he's gone.

CAP got a few looms and did absolutely nothing with them. Running backs are a dime a dozen in the draft and almost all have more to offer then CAP, he'll be gone too.
