My wish list is

1. Trade for Gordon hopefully not using nothing hire than a 3rd...

2. Sign Landry or Allen Robinson

3. Sign Sammy Watkins

4. Sign 2 lower level FA WR combo

Matthew's and john Brown

Moncerif and Richardson

Moncerif and Wallace.

Landry is overrated as fug. Dude has scat back receiving numbers as a WR

Then we must have nothing but Scat back with him having better numbers than all our WR.

Also more TD and rec than Julio..

Landry to me is a poor mans version of Anquon Boldin.

Anquon excelled when he had Larry on the other side which is what you would have to do for Landry. The guy is clutch though and if we had him and for example Josh Gordon(I’m hoping the secret will work here) then we’d be fine with him.

him and Funchess would not. Devin is too slow. Sorry folks, not sold on Devin— that dropped endzone touchdown for the win told me everything— and don’t saw he was interfered with— Diggs is my comparison.

Smith said— big time players make big time plays in big time games— Devin choked his. So he’s not.

id get 3 receivers to put in front of Devin.

There is no cookie cutter way to build a team.  And just because something didn't work for one team doesn't mean it won't work for another.  It's all about chemistry,  fit,  diversity and overall versatility of your corps.  Moreover,  the whole notion/definition of a WR1 varies according to who you're talking to, so it really is an overused term.  We need playmakers, and we need depth when injuries strike so that the train can keep moving along. After the better part of a decade trying it with one or two playmakers at the position group and seeing us come up short,  I think that a change is warranted.

Well, he was interfered with. Diggs was not.  Even still,  two different receivers on two different Sundays.  It's not a particularly relevant comparison.

Whether or not you believe in Funchess as a so-called WR1,  2 or 3, or bench warmer,  doesn't change the fact that we need playmakers at the position

I have no problem at all with competition.  The only receiver that I absolutely know is better than Funchess in this free agent pool is the restricted one.  But that's me.  There are still plenty of questions with some,  and several have been playing so long that we've already seen their ceiling.

If any or all can push Funch to the bench,  then so be it. I think that's pretty unrealistic though. I have every faith in the new sheriff in town to get the best players on the field.

Yep I agree, we need at least 2, really 3.

I don’t think Funchess is a benchwarmer ha— he has made some plays that surprised me— but he’s not someone who’s going to win 50/50 balls, and his stone hands show too much if he’s breathed on wrong.
