I agree.. And it will garner the attention of other teams top cb...

And moving him around will be great as well..

But let me be clear .. My 1st choice is find a way to get Flash Gordon with out using high picks...

Yeah I think if you’re serious about getting the best out of cam you find away to make the trade where it doesn’t hurt us just in case he relaspses and gets banned for life.unfortunetly we don’t have a 4th so it would have to be a 3rd.

Robinson,Landry, and Lee, regardless of what happens, I’d like all three to be brought in soon as fa hits at least for interviews etc. I really like Landry’s attitude as a WR, something we need on our team

No none of these guys are the same player.. Samuels is more like a stronger Ginn.. Landry is like Hopkins and day one is your number1 .. Funch can be a better version of Sanu and your big WR... And Cmc is your Reggie Buch..

Or perfect example.. Remember the Saints 2006 offense??

Colston = Funch

Samuels = Devery Henderson

Landry = Lance Moore/Joe Horn

CMC = Reggie Bush

Good analogy, like I said I hope they exhaust every option this offseason and not be content with bargain shopping

Oh and just to put this out there..

You do know Pryor will be 29 when the season starts next year right??

You really want make that gamble on a 1 year wonder a year from 30???

Lol

How is it a gamble if we get him for cheap on a short term deal?

You talking about paying a guy 4-6 mil a year, to paying a WR 12-14 mil a year.

Big difference. And like I said Landry makes no sense in our offense.

We need a big play guy who can stretch the field vertically.

We are going to have a power run game with vertical passing in a Norv Turner offense.

Why sign Landry to big money and hurt our chances of resigning our own guys?

Yeah it would def be interesting, do you think we could run into a problem like when we had kn and fucnchess ? Two guys with similar skills sets in byrd and Samuel, Landry and cmc

I have a question how do you think we will be able to afford Landry?

#1 WR on the free agency market, and we don't have that much cap space.

Teams like the 49ers/Browns can offer him 12+ a year and not think twice about it. I think you need to realize we still have our own FA's we need to try and resign.

I just don't think Landry is a game changer worth losing key FA's like Norwell and possibly Star.

You missing the key player to that offense...Drew Brees

Last time I checked Cam is not Drew Brees when it comes to passing.

You can only bring him in and attempt to sign him imo, whether he plays for money or to win is up to him. Tony Jefferson rejected a contract last offeseaon from the browns to play for the ravens if I’m correct. Norwell is the main guy who needs to be signed back, may have to let star walk and there are plenty of guys who need to be shown the door this offseason, along with restructures. You do it the dg way imo, offer a guy what you truly thinks he’s worth(don’t lowball him) and go from there, if he signs it’s a win, he doesn’t,on to the next contestant

So again let's not try to sign the guy with great hands rate and catches everything thrown his way??

At what point do you notice how wrong you are??

You're setting yourself up for disappointment. Gassing Landry up and he most likely wont even be a WR we consider signing.lol

Norv wants a WR who can stretch the field. We already have a slot WR, we already have a hybrid RB/WR who can play slot. We have a big body WR who can go across the middle. What we don't have is a vertical threat. Byrd can be that guy, but he is a unknown right now.

Mike Wallace, Terrelle Pyror are the guys Norv will target. Im pretty confident in this.

I guess we will have to wait and see who was right.

I cant make you believe what you want, so I will agree to disagree on Landry.

Your gambling Cam prime years away doing the same dumb bargin shopping hopes and wishes instead of actual production and track record...

Mike Wallace can give you the stats Landry can at half the price and fewer targets.

What we look like paying Landry 12+mil when we can have Wallace at 6 and get damn near the same production.

What's Mike Wallace STAT the last 3 years?? And his hands rate ?? Then remember he is 32 when the season start...

So again instead of getting young quality and production you want to rent old near retirement...

Why do you keep posting ??lol

Norv wants actual WR with with a history of production he can depend on...

We don't have that on this team any where on the roster..

Norv would rather have dependability instead of gambling in potential.. Which he is already doing on every WR spot on the team...

Again I bet 20 Pryor doesn't even get a call from this team...

Maybe learn football before posting ..

Lesson 1.. Great Route running and hands can make you a deep threat..

See.. Jerry Rice 4.77 speed

Deandre Hopkins 4.65 speed

Keenan Allen  4.67 speed

I can keep going if you like..

Cam Newton made the SUPERBOWL with Tedd Ginn Jr as his #1 WR! Can you please stop overrating what #1 WR's would mean to this team.

Hell some people say Cam plays his best without a #1 WR. The only reason WR was a concern this year was because of injuries. We literally had practice squad type WR's playing in the playoffs.

I would have no problem if you said trade for Josh Gordon. A true #1 WR who can play outside. But you seem stuck on this glorified slot WR who will break the bank this offseason.

Pryor is not a #1 WR but you can't tell me he wouldn't help this team in the vertical passing game. He has speed and size, we could use him in this offense.
