I don't care .. He did what the team asked him to do.. But the potential to line up outside has been shown in Landry case .  So you having such a big problem seeing it is your problem. ..

Well...you really told me...¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No the tape did. You just can't see it without Sac telling you 1st...

@Saca312 and probably everyone else here on the Huddle,  except you for some reason,  would laugh at the thought of me taking Saca's word as the Gospel.  Moreover,  I got all over Saca for basically telling me that Landry was mediocre and how Jamison Crowder was superior.

Come on, man. You have a 'tude for no reason,  but whatever. I just try to drop knowledge and/or food for thought.

I was probably the first to say that Shula needs to go (roughly three weeks into his job as OC), but got flack. I got a whole lot of flack for suggesting that Philly Brown was not the answer to our prayers.   I received similar flack when I argued that Shepard was Just A Guy who hadn't proven much of anything. I was the first to basically say that Kalil wasn't going to cut the mustard during preseason after seeing him do a Byron Bell impression,  and that he was paid way too much and how crazy that was. Many people gave their usual snarky responses.  I was also one that said Funchess was better than many people gave him credit for. I also championed J-Stew back in the day when people were trying to say he was a bust before he broke out.  I mean,  I'm admittedly not the X's and O's football guru,  but I've learned a little something after watching football in earnest for 41 years (and all without studying Madden) .  Moreover,  I was labeled the Wide Receiver Extremist in this very place,  so that should tell you about how I value the position---hell,  put a premium on it.  But, hey,  I guess Landry is the next big thing and the answer to our every prayer (notwithstanding the business side of the game and the make-up of our team).

Define wr 1? There’s a couple of round one talents this year but I doubt they go top 10 like last year. I think Christian Kirk can be a fringe wr1/2 and I’d love to him. Especially where we’re picking. Seems like a lot of second round wrs too. Now, a lot of things change between college and the nfl so who knows how many of these guys become studs, but it’s a pretty solid class imo

As long as Hurney is GM, do NOT draft a wide receiver. Develop our current WRs and sign a vet. Hurney has never been good at finding pass catchers in the draft. Remember Colbert, Carter, Jarrett & LaFAIL? All busts. Again, do NOT draft a WR.

Do NOT draft a WR?

LOL, we drafted SS89, we didnt sign him from market.

I personally wouldn't spend a high draft pick on WR, but I wouldn't mind seeing Auden Tate get a look. Tall receiver (good for Cam's overthrow tendencies) that has good hands, is good at high-pointing the ball and a good red zone target. Antonio Callaway could be worth a look also - will probably go mid to late in the draft because of off the field issues, but the guy probably has 1st-2nd round talent.

What?

Funchess’ season showed that’s he’s not a “legitimate playmaker”. I don’t think you quite understand the definition of a playmaker. A legitimate playmaker makes that grab in the end zone Sunday. A legitimate playmaker doesn’t disappear against teams like the Pack and Bucs with weak secondaries.

And um... that second part. I can’t even help you here

So Julio Jones is not a playmaker by this definition. He dropped a lot of TDs this year yet everyone in the league wants him.
