He will be paid as a #1 WR. This is how FA works. Best FA's available at their position usually gets top tier money.

Just saying you're all in on this guy who will likely be paid as a top 5 WR. If you think we are breaking the bank on 1 player who is not a game changing type WR with our cap you're crazy.

*Watched those highlights and one key thing I noticed, he is not a deep threat.

What does Norv Turner offense requires a deep threat. Im wiling to bet Landry is not even a WR they are looking at for his offense.

One we can't afford him! Second he is not a deep threat, and doesn't fit with Turner's offense.

Im thinking we go the combo signing of the cheaper WR's or trade for one.

I judge by my own eyes and what actually professional thinks..

Was Jerry Rice a vertical threat?? What about Deandre Hopkins.. Not very fast at all but both run excellent routes and have great hands.. Both can line up anywhere.

landry is a hell of a player but signing him would make cmc and Samuel obselete in the receiving end.  

 

Again im not entirely sure if Miami ever asked him to be a outside receiver, so it’s debatable whether he could play outside.

I agree. Not taking anything from Landry, he is great especially in the slot. He just doesn't fit our offense.

I can see Norv going after Wallace/Pryor as his deep threat guy, and one more of the cheaper WR's to complement them.

Damn glad you mentioned this. Totally forgot how CMC/Samuel do the exact same thing Landry does. Make plays in the slot.

We already have slot WR's on our team. Another reason to why Landry makes no sense with our personnel.

That’s the key reason imo not to pursue him, money secondly depending on the market. Speed and how well he can play outside full time come in question. I think if the fo and coaching staff truly want to get better at WR they’ll grab a guy like Robinson on a prove it deal, while grabbing another vet as well. I say this with the assumption Watkins doesn’t hit fa

Although I cant see the Seahawks letting him go Paul Richardson has some speed and was pretty decent this year.  Young but shouldnt be super expensive.  I do agree with most huddlers that its slim pickings this year all around.
