I wouldn't pay Pryor 2 million..  He's had one good season and still hasn't shown the ability to run the full route tree.. I don't why you think you know football over anybody here..

I don't know if Landry a game changer.  But he is a WR who runs great routes has great hands and consistently produces 80 catch 1000 yards and 7 tds seasons.. That would make him the best WR WE HAVE had since Smitty.. And he did this with QB'S no where near as good as Cam.. So he is a sure thing that would be day 1 top 3 WR in this division..

I say we pay for a sure thing for once instead of paying cheap and gambling Cam's prime years away.

It's not about knowing more football, it's about being realistic with our cap room.

You arguing over a guy who we likely have no shot at signing. Yes I agree he is the best WR in this draft class. Do I think he is a #1 WR? No, that's just my opinion.

But back to the point, he is out of our price range because he will be the top WR on the market. A lot of teams who have way more caproom than us, can offer him a lot more money than us. So it's about being "realistic", we can't afford him.

Yes.. He can.. 100 catches and being the best WR on that team and one of their only Receving weapons.. Means he's faced a lot of teams best Cb...

Great highlights, too bad he will be out of our price range because the FA market will pay him as a top WR.

Better start getting some other WR's in your head, because Landry is not affordable for us.

Who else you like besides Landry?

You keep saying "sure thing." If the "sure thing" is limited by position and upside,  and is not even the biggest need at the position, then in many respects he is a luxury pick.  I don't want any more luxury picks,  I want guys with the highest upside, That fills a definite need, and provides value.

Landry doesn't really check the boxes.

Look at the video he is lining up everywhere... You can't keep saying the same untrue poo when video evidence is showing you differently..

I'm tired of the upside bull poo.. Pay for the guy who has produced for once..

So checking the boxes must not include having amazing fuging hands great route running ability,  run after catch ability, being tough as fug,  and producing top WR's numbers...

From all this talking .  I swear I see a guy who lines up everywhere and beats a lot of top CB.. Just a slot?? Nah I don't see that...

lol WOW!

Can we afford to pay him top dollar considering he is the #1 WR in his FA class?

This aint Madden bro, you do know we will have a certain amount of caproom to spend and giving Landry half of it is not a good move considering we have our own FA's to resign.

Who else you like at WR?

You won't know unless you try.. You bring him in the building and give our case.. Either he takes it or not.. But it doesn't hurt to try..

Sign Robinson to a similar deal that Jeffery signed with the eagles, mid season next year if Robinson is performing like expected sign him to an extension. Even if he’s signed I still say bring another vet in also as insurance. Let star walk unfortunately, sign norwell back, and draft defense(barring a offenseive player that cant be ignored falling). You can mix and match but gotta be proactive and not sit on our hands as fa passes us by

Do you even know what our price range is?? Yeah me neither

So lets wait and see it before making assumptions on what we can and can't afford..

We do have a MVP QB in his prime and a chance to be relevant.. To offer him money wise we don't  know..

Other WR's.. hmmm

Allen Robinson

Trade for Gordon (in reason) "maybe" 1 of our 3rd round picks but nothing over that... I don't even want to risk that high of a pick..

Sammy Watkins..

After that I'm looking for combo signings..

Brown and Moncreif

Wallace and Richardson

Matthew's and Brown

Type stuff..

Our price range for a WR...I don't think we go over 10 mil a year.

I think the more likely option is we either make a trade for one or get a combo package for the cheaper WR's.

Saying that I really think Ron realizes and having hired Norv Turner, we must really go get Cam a #1.

Again "You don't think" Think is not knowing..

We don't know what we actually have financially yet..

We don't know what he is willing to take yet..

So let's not limit ourselves until we get a accurate pic. Of what we are dealing with and how the market plays out..

All we know now is Norv and Ron (especially  Ron) finally see how deficient we are in that position..

We need a number 1 threat on the outside to take this offense and this team to the next level..

I really suggest that you listen to this to keep some context when it comes to Landry.  I have done my homework on the guy. @Saca312 tried to tell me that Landry was overrated because he was fed the ball,  but Landry can't help if he was their only sure thing.  He will kill you from the slot,  and that's what the preponderance of his routes are, and by a large margin.  His stats essentially went down this season,  but he still produced notwithstanding being basically misused (if not overused). Though I won't take anything from him and would love to have him,  he is likely going to be too costly, and his mastery is really not the direction in which our offense wants to go.  We need to get vertical. Any big money spent needs to be to that end.  We can likely get two guys with more upside in the way that we really want to go than one Landry.
