Pryor did it 1 time..

Landry has done it almost every season he has been in the league.. Plus he is younger than pryor

Ok say we manage to find a way to pay Landry top WR money.

What happens with Norwell and Star?

You just created 2 positions we need to fill because we paid our FA money to 1 WR.

Ok so what happens when the Browns throw a boatload of money to Landry?

Listen I get that he is a good WR, but im trying to be realistic. He will likely be the best WR on the market, which means he will be overpaid by other teams with capspace. I don't think we have a realistic shot at signing him even if we wanted to.

Then he goes to the Browns..

If he want to win and get paid.. He might choose to come here..

We won't know unless we try..

You try to pay one of them..

But again you have to understand we have put money in those position already..

You have a top paid guard and DT on the team and you can't keep dumping money into 1 position..

The classic if he wants to win and get paid response.

If that's the case why wouldn't more players sign with the Patriots?

Players want money, the winning is nice, but a young player in his prime will chase the money.

Winning over money is for the vets who truly want to compete for a Superbowl ring.

Look how we stole Julius Peppers for nothing. He chose winning over money.

Slot is the least of the wr worries of this team.  They need to replace KB, which by the way would have had the Panthers playing today had he not been traded.

A tall and fast outside receiver is about all that they can afford to put capital in.

Terrelle Pryor is the only WR who fits that bill. Who could be cheap as well.

Which means we could possibly keep Norwell and Star.

Norwell is a must to resign regardless if we have 2 high paid guards or not. He is protecting the Franchise in Cam Newton.

Star I think we should let walk. But I don't know how Hurney is thinking so...

I have no clue as to who the guy Norv will want.  I don't follow other teams enough to offer an opinion on any of these guys you all are fighting over.

But having said that.  What was the question?

Oh...I would wager to guess that if the tag is used it will be on Norwell.  Starr will be allowed to go home.  Family...

You don't know his mindset until you meet with him..

Last time I checked 987 is not greater than 1000. Im just stating facts bruh.

Really dude.. just stop.. You arguing for a guy who is older and had one good year at a position he is still trying to learn to play..  987 yards would be Pryor 2nd best season of his career..
