If there is indeed a sticking point, the two most likely possibilities to me could be Scott's role or whether the read option will still be used.

I couldn't find anything either.  I think there's been a lot a speculation and assumptions about the situation being reported as concert evidence.  This deal is a tough sell IMO.

When I bought my house I signed the vast majority of the paperwork via e-documents.  I know they aren't the same thing but the point remains that you don't physically have to be in a certain place to sign contracts.

To be honest, it's not like there's offseason conditioning or anything going on right now anyway. He wouldn't absolutely have to be here right now.

Or he agreed in principle and is going home for the weekend while his agent works out the details. There's no rush at this point from the perspective of either party.
