You can think whatever you want for sure. But Hurney by all accounts is in charge of all football decisions. The whole discussion is really moot given Hurney has no intention of firing Ron. Ron is a good coach and apparently they have had plenty of dialogue. If I remember an earlier interview Ron gave when Marty came aboard was that he and Marty had some frank and honest discussions about the team and personnel.

What did Hurney do to you to cause such disdain.  Fire you from a job?

Nothing to me personally.  I just see him for what he is.  He is just a yes man, always has been and always will be.  The frank discussion you refer to was more to tell him his place in the pecking order.

You seem determined to give him much more credit than he has earned or deserves.  Are you two related?

While we're on the subject of zero percent. That also applies to the odds of us doing that.

Im curious to see how much of the classical "panthers never.." changes with richardson leaving.

Its a possibility this team takes a 180. Especially if we get a new GM and HC down the line.

10 years from now we could be a domed team that looks and operates nothing like what we see today

definitely interesting

I will leave the thread with this thought. Even if Ron was as much in favor of trading Benjamin as Hurney, the blame for the trade was going to be on Hurney given that the trade pissed off Cam big time. And who would you want Cam pissed at? Ron, Marty or both of them. Think about it......

Careful what you wish for.  A new regime could see the roster in a very different light than we fans do.  Some fan favorites may not be on the team soon after.

i’m willing to take that risk

let’s get our asses out of kansas for once and see what happens

That's coming soon enough.  We will have to endure one last hoorah from Ron and the gang until that happens.  Here's to a title or two in the meantime.

So you trash Hurney non stop but god forbid if we lose some “fan favorites”?

Hurney and Richardson’s biggest flaw was signing every “fan favorite” to a massive deal.

The goal is to win not keep the “fan favorites”. There are some fan favorites that need to be shown the door for the better of this team.
