Not that these mock draft ever predict the actual outcome but at 24 this sounds like a good pick.  I don't really know much about him other than what I just read and rarely get to see any college games.

What stood out to me is 2741 yd receiving over 3 years.  This guy produced even as a freshman.

Comparing him to other Bama receivers, Ridley doesn't have near the size of Amari Cooper or Julio Jones (Ridley is 6-1/190, Cooper is around 210 at the same height and Jones is massive), but he is plenty big enough, has shown much better hands, that he's a much better route-runner, and has comparable deep speed at the college level as Cooper and Jones.

Would love him as Cam's #1 target.

Equanimeous St Brown is a more realistic choice for us.

This is the guy I've got my eye on.  6'5" and fast & athletic.  Held back by QB play, but is the real deal.   He Is a 2nd round pick right now, but I expect will jump into the mid-late 1st after the combine and pro days.

People need to go watch his cut ups.  He fits what Norv wants perfectly.

Wait, that's a real name for a real person?

I thought you were quoting that Key and Peele sketch.

Watch his cut ups.  The guy fits what we will be doing to a "T."  Regardless of the unusual name.

there were alot of mock drafts that mocked CMC to us last year. But it was within 3-4 weeks of the draft.

If you look at mocks very close to draft time 1-3 weeks out, they usually get some first rounders correct.

True but i meant getting the first 3 right after that who knows.  I have rarely seen where a mock draft gets the top 5 right.

If Ridley some how does fall to #24, we take him and don't look back (unless a top10 talent drops). Ridley had garbage QBs throwing to him and IMO is the top WR in this draft and worthy of top-10 consideration. Personally, I'd rather a DE or SAF at 24 and maybe CB, but Ridley is the premier WR in this draft and the only one I would want in R1.  I'm hoping our #1 comes via FA/trade, but Ridley/Funchess would be nasty with Samuel and Byrd as complimentary guys.

Like others have said, it's too early for mocks to equal reality. When it's all said and done, I see Ridley in a Bears uniform.
