The Norv Turner hire is growing on me. Yes, he’s old but he’s had opportunity after opportunity as a coach in this league. Shula prob won’t get crap. Plus, Because of Norv Turners pedigree, I feel like his presence will demand respect from the offensive players, especially Newton. Our players probably saw Shula as a joke and didn’t take him seriously.

It will be interesting how cam performs without the read option and more under center. Probably fewer qb runs

the dude's system is olllllllllld. Be honest with yourself, do you TRULY believe this is the best OC for Cam and Company's future? Idk, yeah maybe better than Shula, but idk if he's the guy for this job.

 

All I know is, I want the Panthers to win the damn Super Bowl, that's it. I hope I eat my words, but I just don't see Norv Turner being the guy to help Cam get his ring.

alright, get back to us in week 8... if hired, which i think he will be, I say he is the right guy ...

Either Turner works out well and we win, or he sucks and helps get RR out of town that much sooner...see there is a silver lining to bringing in another predictable OC. Lets just hope this one, at least attempts to make SOME adjustments when needed....
