The Silver Lining - Norv's Never Had A QB Like Cam

With Richardson gone , that might not be the case anymore

Richardson isn't gone just yet.

But even when he is, no team in the league is going to trade a third round pick for a guy who's one stupid stunt away from being permanently banned from the NFL.

Marty Hurney may not be the world's greatest talent evaluator, but he's not an idiot.

There’s absolutely no way this is a lateral move.  Even if Norv were to literally drive down to Krispy Kreme where Shula is working now and pry his playbook from his cold, icing covered fingers and not alter it in any way, it would still be a huge improvement because Norv would understand when to call what plays.

I'm banking on the idea that Norv draws up a few new wrinkles to get them over the hump.   At least that how it appears to me.

so anything can happen...but I'm not a Jerry hater for the record.

I’m not hating on Jerry— but in this self serving case where Josh Gordan is a possibility for the Panthers after Norv coached him?

I’ll sing ding dong the witch is dead like a munchkin.

If we get Norv I think I'm gonna go back on my "don't need to draft a WR in the first round." And go all in on Courtland Sutton.

He'd fit Norv's system like a glove.

Yep I mentioned Sutton in another thread...

I think him and Ridley end up going 1-2 so does Sutton fall to 24?

Norv’s only season in Cleveland, Gordon put up 87 catches 1646 yards and 9 td’s...

I know almost nothing about the draft this year. I haven’t followed much of anyone, haven’t watched a single college game.

so Sutton is a Josh Gordan? The highlights on that Kirk and Anthony Miller I just watched look good but they are small— would Norv work with a Steve Smith sized receiver?
