I’m just comparing resumes. As bad as Shula sucked it was understandable how he was hired in the first place. Scott is literally only getting this job because of who his daddy is. There’s no way the best candidate for this job just happens to be the new OC’s son who is a “consultant” at the college level currently.

no way? lol there is always a way...I am very excited about the whole deal...if it goes through.

He has two years of experience as a QB coach, both under daddy. With Teddy Bridgewater. For the 27th and 29th rated NFL offenses. It’s widely known that Bridgewater never got comfortable in Norv’s offense because of how much he had to work under Center. You know, something that a QH coach is supposed to help develop. Frighteningly, we also have a QB who is much more accustomed to working from the shotgun.

Meanwhile, guys like Wade Wilson are available. A guy who has 15+ years as an NFL QB a coach and who has been to the SB as a QB coach.

I mean who else was going to take the job?  It's only temporary.  Norv is coming out of retirement for one last hoorah to help an old friend out.  I hope they pull it off.  Every fan should.

I hope they pull it off, but who would take the job? Seriously? How often does a QB coaching position for a playoff team with a former MVP QB open up? I don’t think there would’ve been any shortage of candidates. Everyone knew Shula’s offense was a turd and Cam is coming off of back to back subpar seasons. This is an ideal situation to look golden.
