Whelp. Back to low expectations. It was too good to be true that this organization would take time to actually field some candidates. Back to one big happy "family".

At first this was my thought.  But now that I've had time to digest the news I'm not so sure this is a bad thing.

With the right tweaks in a hand full of positions it just might work.  But they will have to hit in FA and have a solid draft to pull it off.  I can't be certain of my theory until I see what positions are upgraded in each but if it plays out like I think it will we may be looking at our first back to back winning seasons.

I’m not excited about Norv, but I’m willing to give him a shot. He’s done some great offensive things in the past. Well I’m the past.

But, I don’t like getting suckered into hiring his son as the QB coach. He doesn’t have the resume. Hell, Shula had a MICH abetted resume than Norv’s son.

Shula had his shot and so did Dorsey.  It's time to close the book on that experiment.  Hindsight is 50/50.

I’m just comparing resumes. As bad as Shula sucked it was understandable how he was hired in the first place. Scott is literally only getting this job because of who his daddy is. There’s no way the best candidate for this job just happens to be the new OC’s son who is a “consultant” at the college level currently.
