This is my feelings too.  The scheme is not a bad one.  Running the ball effectively is.  However, you have to adjust Turner can, Shula couldn't.

Shula would revert to the same plays over and over as if he is saying...Watch this...they won't expect this.....and of course they were ready to give us a 1 yd run or zero yards.

glancing over Norv's wiki page.....he doesn't have a superbowl ring. He's also has never had a QB like Cam. Who has? Chud and he left for greener pastures....

Not everything no, I just don’t think we should burn down the entire organization for a QB with piss poor mechanics with neither the ability or willingness to correct or try to correct the issue. Auctually I will just break it down this way it will be easier. New owner, New GM (after next year) New Head Coach (after next year) <— in turn all new coaching staff including OC unless god I hope not Norv Turner gets promoted to HC .   And new QB at the end of contract which hopefully they trade out of and get something instead of just releasing him. New stadium after 2019. OR Same tired old QB play with overthrows and throwing into tight windows with receivers running wide open underneath??  Having to learn an entire new system 10 years into his career.  Now out of those 2 scenario which one sounds like it’s going to auctually happen.

Sir I hope you’re correct but unfortunately I am also a realist.   8 years in and he still has the same issues with mechanics when he came into the league?  That’s not on coaching? Unless everyone thinks our old QB coach never said drop your elbow,step into your throws, square your shoulders and hip to your target,Go thru your reads??  The only way this new thing that’s coming works if they leave it the way it is and Norv Turner is 100% needs a pocket passer in his style of offense.  And as everyone knows weather they are willing to admit it or not that’s not Cams strong suit

neither. They are the absolute extremes. Try leveling out the scenarios.

Shula is gone because he was out of his depth.    2015 was due to turn overs/short fields and Cam Newton, not Shula's scheme.  Nobody came calling for him after that season because they all knew.  Norv has rings, proven he can do this and will get the play in before the play clock winds down.  Next year will be the first time we have two winning seasons in a row, with deep run in the playoffs with ANY experienced OC.

It was more Shula frustration than hatred.  Run 2 yards or less and a cloud of dust, over and over and over.  Burned time-outs because the play wasn't in on time.  No adjustments, even in the Superbowl.  Nobody came looking to hire Shula away from us for a reason.  Lets see if anyone hires Shula as an OC, and if so, how he does there.  Then you can tout his skills.
