I'm just really torn because to my recollection FA WR's never work out it seems.  Good WR's rarely hit FA. 

Plus rarely are WR's dominant coming of the draft unless they are athletic freaks.. ie Julio Jones, Calvin Johnson, etc.. 

We have to get people who are more polished route runners,  and have the ability to stretch the field.   I just don't see the options in FA that realistically have a chance of coming here. 

 

Moncrief or Pryor would be intriguing.  Add a nice drafted, and we things to look forward to.  I'd also happily accept Jordan Matthews (though he's not really a deep threat) because I  believe that he's got a little untapped upside.

Flash Gordon and Cam on the same team? Yeah, sign me up for that. Low risk, VERY high reward. If he messes up again, just cut him. I think having a QB like Cam would change Gordon a lot tbh

I usually shy away from guys like Gordon, but there is not a more perfect get for this team.  Talented, fast, and a perfect complement to Funchess. 

Anyone think we could get him on a 2-year deal for $12 mil?  If he fails another drug test, is he permanently banned at this point?

Not saying that he'll be permanently banned (and neither was Justin Blackmon), but If he fails another test, no one's going to touch him.

Yeah,  I forgot about Lee.  He'd be very intriguing.  He has sneaky number 1 upside (number 1, meaning the leading receiver on the team). Those injuries though.

Gordon can’t really be trusted at this point, unfortunately. I’d hate to hedge our bets on him and he ends up suspended and we are in the same boat.

But the thought of Cam and Josh Gordon is downright frightening.

That's why he might be cheap and has to take a prove it deal.. You could potential sign him and a cheaper option like Wallace or Jaron Brown..
