When has anyone said these things about the dearly departed Shula?

Never.

He’ll be workin a flat top grill trying to master the medium/medium-rare temps of Papa Don’s meat market.

Troy Aikman lol

The whispers of him being at BOA today were spot on. Pie to the Huddlers that reported that earlier, and I am excited that we get a fresh perspective on the offensive side of the ball no matter what. Watching most of the play calling the last couple seasons have taken their toll on me.

I didn't get pie, I just got questioned. I have a source but I can't name them. But whatever man. (shrugs)

This happened rather too quickly for me ... did they even interview anyone? There is plenty of time till the offseason starts ya know. Lot of prospects still coaching in the playoffs ...

Larger question..who is pulling the trigger? JR is on his way out. Is there a deep State running $h1t? Why can’t we wait till new ownership comes in? I prefer a little bit more transparency. This is the mafia type of moves JR used to do

Wait until new ownership?  You know that's like gonna be this summer right?  If we waited for new ownership to get an OC, then we're literally just assembling offensive pieces for no reason because theres no forethought into how they'll fit in the offense because Ron is a defensive coach.  I agree that the process shouldn't have been so quick (IE, same day), but also not alarmed or upset by it because it allows norv to start coming up with ideas for offeseason targets in free agency and where we can cut fat on our roster.

Dont sweat the pie. These days its far more about who breaks news first rather than those that make insightful or meaningful posts. None of it means a damn thing. If people are not showing their "pie chart" at tailgates to get free beer then its useless.

Look at the thread of Shula fired. One guy posted 20 seconds earlier and got 70+ pie. the guy that was 20 seconds late got a small fraction of that. Love te Huddle...but damn some ppl are like crack heads reading here..monitoring twitter..and a fingernail away form making a post~

I am cautiously optimistic, but practically speaking, I believe Norv is one of the few legit options that would accept this job at this point in time.  I think most potential candidates would be hesitant to accept a position in our organization until the dust settles.  Ron and his staff might only be gainfully employed here for another season or two.  No one wants a one year gig outside of an old war horse like Norv that could be just as content going back to the golf course he just left.

Its basically like Shula never left.

This may be true but my optimism comes from these 3 things:

1 He's aware of what got Shula fired

2 Cam will get playcalls on time in the huddle

3 We've won playoff games & damn near the whole thing despite Shula, and Norv is definitely an upgrade no matter how small of an upgrade it is.

And BAM!!!.....Glass half full.

obvious is obvious.  Norv was already in the plans before Shula was shitcanned.

Plus Cam may actually have some NFL caliber wideouts to throw to.

People want to judge Norv based on what happened in Minnesota with Teddy freaking Bridgewater, but I like to look at his Chargers team with LT and Sproles, Gates, Rivers, more involvement of  2 TE sets, etc.  I think Rivera has always wanted to emulate that too.

Everyone can be negative about the potential hire of Norv, but it will without question be better then Shula and that’s what’s important.  Norv will make sure Cam is fundamentally sound, he will make Cam a better player.  Cam will never have had a greater offensive mind to dissect plays with.  He may give Cam full autonomy to audible and run plays he’s comfortable with.  No matter which way you spin it, whether you think Norv calls a great game or sucks (Atleast defenses will be off guard for a while with a new play book), this is an absolute positive getting Cam a different mind to pick and grow from.  Be negative all you want, Norv was loved by his players everywhere he’s been.  This is a major upgrade in football acumen.
