REPORT: Panthers will hire Norv Turner as OC

No matter what this is a significant upgrade, getting someone that actually understands how offenses work instead of just drawing lines with fingerpaint in the playbooks. I expect fewer plays with 3 receivers within 2 yards of each other, better situational play calling, and better utilization of the talents we have rather than the voices in his head. I said it in another thread, the system hasn’t been the problem. It’s the decision maker during game time.

This happened rather too quickly for me ... did they even interview anyone? There is plenty of time till the offseason starts ya know. Lot of prospects still coaching in the playoffs ...

Larger question..who is pulling the trigger? JR is on his way out. Is there a deep State running $h1t? Why can’t we wait till new ownership comes in? I prefer a little bit more transparency. This is the mafia type of moves JR used to do

Well apparently somebody actually did get fired in the middle of the night, but it wasn't here.
