The key to Norv Turners success is the key to any coordinators success.....He's only as good as the talent he has to work with. Panthers have to very carefully bring in the right combination of players that compliment Cam Newton......If they do that, this offense could thrive.

The biggest thing missing from the play calling was situational awareness. If Norv is even just a tiny better at that, our offense will be vastly improved.

My expectation is that at least in the beginning, Scott being quarterback coach equals Norv being quarterback coach.

Over time, I expect transition.

This is s very good point.  It’s a game of inches and nuances.  On the surface it seems like the styles are similar but I think Turner plays chess and Shula plays checkers.  Despite some of the sentiment, this is an upgrade for sure.
