Obviously we don't have LT but we still have some weapons to be worked with and Turner has proven he can put up crazy offensive numbers when he has talent.

Cam is not the passer Rivers is but I think he is a much more dangerous QB with his runnng

CMC i think can be better than Sproles

Olsen is very similar to Gates

Funchess has the tools to someday be as good as VJax was. Plus Byrd and Samuel look promising

ESPN's David Newton reports the Panthers are nearing a deal to hire Norv Turner as their offensive coordinator.

The Panthers are also hiring Turner's son, Scott, as QBs coach. Head coach Ron Rivera has worked with Turner before, serving first as his linebackers coach and later as defensive coordinator in San Diego from 2007-2010. This is Turner's first coaching job since abruptly resigning as the Vikings' offensive coordinator last season. Turner will be tasked with getting the most out of Cam Newton, who finished near the bottom of the league in most passing categories this year.

Done deal, was done for the most part last night. Probably see an announcement tonight or tomorrow and a presser on Friday or Monday. 

 

Have a Turner family reunion now as far as coaching staff.
